Alliance CRP/Oncology Nursing
Call for Abstracts | DUE March 19
The Alliance Clinical Research Professionals (CRP) and Oncology Nursing (A-ONC) committees are seeking abstracts for a special poster session/reception at the 2018 Alliance Spring Group Meeting May 10-12, in Chicago, IL.
Our committees recognize oncology clinical research and the NCTN program are rapidly changing and wish to showcase the role of the nurse and CRP in the cooperative group environment. The goal of this poster session is to provide an opportunity for Alliance sites to share their success stories in adapting to ever-changing regulatory requirements, training programs for new staff, implementation of new processes and clinical management of patients who are receiving non-traditional chemotherapy agents.
Additionally, two abstracts (one CRP focused; one nursing focused) will be selected for a three- to 10-minute oral presentation during the CRP/Oncology Nursing Open Forum taking place on Friday, May 11. All abstracts submitted will be eligible and considered for selection for the two oral sessions. Authors whose abstracts are accepted will be strongly encouraged to be present and discuss their findings and their poster during both the CRP/Oncology Nurse reception on the evening of Thursday, May 10 and the poster session/reception on Friday evening.
