Alliance Highlights Six Active Clinical Trials Focusing on Lung Cancer

As lung cancer is the third most common cancer in the U.S., Alliance works to offer treatment and prevention studies to impact this statistic. Lung cancer is caused by an unchecked growth of cells in a person’s lungs. It typically starts in the cells lining the bronchi and parts of the lung such as the bronchioles or alveoli.
