2018 Gastrointestinal cancers symposium january 18-20

The 2018 Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium featured a wide array of multidisciplinary topics of international interest, covering cancers of the esophagus and stomach, pancreas, small bowel and hepatobiliary tract, and the colon, rectum and anus. Session topics include "Global Perspectives on Surveillance, Risk Factors, and Management of Early Gastric Cancer," as well as the multimodality management of biliary cancers. Other topics included young onset colon cancer, and liquid biopsies. The symposium was co-sponsored by the American Gastroenterological Association Institute, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society for Radiation Oncology and Society of Surgical Oncology.

The Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology presented three abstracts from its study portfolio during the annual symposium January 18-20 in San Francisco, CA.
